Olympic Games

This year my mom side of the family did the Olympic Games. All the games we had were: sprinting, biking, jumping the farthest, jumping the highest, throwing a ball, running the slowest, cartwheels, handstands, and an egg on a spoon race.

Finally after those tiring races our family was able to eat lunch. I was as fast as a lightning bolt, but still my 12 year old cousin beat me to get her food first. First when I saw her doing animal noises and movements I had no I idea what she was doing and laughed, but when it was my turn I stepped up and asked, “May I please have a hotdog and lemonade?”

My aunt replied saying, “Well if you want a hotdog you must do 3 crows and for lemonade you must do 6 turtles.”

I was so confused at that point, I would not even be able to do 1 + 1. In my brain I was thinking, “What does she mean 3 crows and 6 turtles?” Then finally it came to me! In front of my family, I pretended I had wings and flow around saying, “CAAAAAAAAAA, CAAAAAAAAAA, CAAAAAAAAAA.”

“Very well done Ludmila. I thought your hotdog would get freezing cold”  My aunt joked

“OH, but that’s not all.” I reminded her. Now I had to do 6 turtles. I lay on the ground I could feel the fresh nice grass tickled my cheek. I started to crawl but glued to the ground 6 times I crawled and finally I got lemonade and my hotdog. We waited until everyone got their food and then we all ate as ONE BIG FAMILY!

After I had finished I went back and did 4 barks to get 2 toffees which are candies that inside there is a hazelnut covered in chocolate and then dip with a big layer of caramel. When my cousin saw me have some she wanted some too so I did 4 barks again and gave her my 2 toffee.

In the end of lunch we all went to rest for awhile until the medals were handed out.
