Painful & Peaceful Paint

The ultimate underdog story. Last year I competed in two horse riding shows with the same horse, Paint.Our first show, in March, went terribly, we were disqualified from classes and didn’t work as a team. I wanted to work with him again for a second show. I showed him last June in the second show. I was nervous, because of how the first show went, but as the day progressed we were getting ribbons in all classes.  Not thinking that I would win High Point I left early that day only to get a text from my friend later that day saying that I had won high point. I was in so much shock and happiness that I almost broke the floor below me from all the jumping.
